Assessment Strategies in D2L, Part 1

This lesson provides insight to course developers on how to effectively use the tools within D2L to develop assessments that foster collaboration, prevent cheating, and manage question distributions using the quizzing feature. It discusses how to use question pools, question banks and sections in D2L, and the group function for assessment delivery. The lesson is interactive and includes a brief assessment at the conclusion. Part II to this series will follow later this year and will discuss best practices for refining existing assessments, improving learner performance on assessments, and strengthening alignment between course content and assessments.
